Chris Root B.Sc. ACA
Director
A seasoned professional with a long and successful career in the Care Sector. Over a period of nearly thirty years, Chris has gained experience in a wide range of areas in healthcare working with, and for a number of corporate care home providers and investors in the development, financing and expansion of care services. For the last twelve years, Chris’ passion has been to apply and develop this experience in an operational capacity at both Moor Park and at his other directly owned healthcare businesses in Cumbria.
Elana Follwell R.N.
Director (Nursing) RN
Extensive nursing experience, including Registered Manager of large home, nurse training overseas, developed innovate specialist services in care home settings, including GSF at Beacon status (3 times), stroke rehabilitation, intermediate including elderly rehab and hospital at home, palliative and end of life care often as successful pilot projects with NHS and hospice partners.
Lindsey Bowser RGN.
Registered Home Manager
Lindsey is a Registered Nurse by background who has been working at Moor Park House in clinical roles since 2016. In 2021 Lindsey became the Registered Manager for the home. Lindseys background pre MPH was predominantly hospice based specialist nursing. Lindsey is also the Network Chair for Skills for Care Registered Manager Central Lancashire forum, and a stand in board member for Lancashire Adults Safeguarding Board.
Joanne Brown
Lead Physiotherapist
Jo is a Chartered Physiotherapist, with neurological physiotherapy being her specialist area. Jo works with her team and provides regular physiotherapy sessions to residents as part of their rehabilitation or care programme. We have our own Hydrotherapy pool, and Jo runs physio sessions within the pool.
Sr Helene Castaing Quality Assurance Lead RGN
Helene has been working at Moor Park House since the end of 2023. She comes from a surgical background with her Level 6 Leadership and Management qualification. She has a strong interest in research and compliance. Helenes role is to ensure that quality is maintained within the nursing and care team.
